All CPSU members are entitled to one legal referral which includes an initial free consultation and advice.

To arrange your referral, call 1300 137 636 and have your membership number handy. You will be issued with a referral letter and will then be contacted within 48 hours by our legal service provider, Slater & Gordon. Slater & Gordon are familiar with employment jurisdictions commonly used by CPSU members and they can also assist with non employment matters.

Tasmanian members

Tasmanian members have access to a special deal with the state's leading labour law firm Ogilvie Jennings. This includes:

  • no win no fee on injury and compensation cases
  • 20% to normal fee on a range of matters, and
  • a flat fee of $55 for wills.
