The Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU) represents workers in a wide range of industries.

These include the Federal and ACT and NT public sectors, telecommunications, call centres, employment services, commercial broadcasting, the aviation industry and science and research.

Our union works collectively to ensure workers are safe at work; have fair rights, pay and conditions; and a strong voice at work. We know strong union workplaces deliver higher quality public services, a fairer society, and a better deal for workers.

As part of the broad labour movement, we act with integrity and stand in solidarity to support progressive social change and environmental justice.

Who can join?

CPSU membership is open to employees in a wide range of industries and includes those employed on permanent, temporary, casual, and labour hire contracts.
