Member Service Centre Telephone Organisers CPSU - Sydney office
Salary: $46,519 + 13% Superannuation
The primary function of this role is to provide information, support, advice and representation to members on issues that affect their working lives. The MSC Telephone Organiser operates in a very dynamic, complex and constantly changing environment requiring flexibility and openness to new ideas and approaches. The MSC Telephone Organiser is an entry-level position with potential career development to a workplace organising role. A comprehensive six-month training program is provided.
The position reports to the Director of the MSC and the Team Leader and will be focused on meeting the four key union objectives of:
Our industrial outcomes - delivering the union's core claim in bargaining
Our outcomes in membership - delivering the union's growth target
Our outcomes in member activity and involvement - building member participation in the collective activity
Our outcomes in development of activists and workplace union structures - increasing the number, skill and engagement of activists and workplace leaders in CPSU activity

You may even have a background in the Public Service but it’s not essential.
