Advancement and back pay win

The CPSU Member Service Centre recently stepped in to assist CPSU member Christopher who had not been advanced to the APS3 level despite successfully completing an Indigenous Apprenticeship Program twelve months prior, and who was still being paid Apprentices wages.

Taking the issue up with management, the MSC organiser ensured that the Department advanced the member in accordance with the Enterprise Agreement and back paid him for the 12 months he had been underpaid at the incorrect level.
