CPSU fights back on Genesys and MTS
Last week CPSU issued a letter from our lawyers at Slater + Gordon to the Department over its failure to consult over the MTS and the impact on your rosters.
DHS is also refusing to acknowledge that staff in rostered environments have access to “default hours” if they can’t agree on a “pattern of hours” with their manager. This is a right under section F8 of your current agreement, and the CPSU is back in the Fair Work Commission soon over this matter.
DHS management representative Adrian Hudson actually said in Senate Estimates that “default hours” did not apply. Adrian needs to read the agreement or it’s off to the Federal Court.
