SBS - positive talks, but the devil will be in detail!

30 July 2008, 2:35pm

Negotiations for your new collective agreement continue to look promising with several big issues already discussed with SBS management.

To recap, your concerns over issues such as permanent employment for people on specified period/task/AWAs, PMPs, and flexible working arrangements have been acknowledged by SBS management and are currently being looked into.

The progress made during these discussions means we have already started to draft some of the clauses in your new Agreement but there is still a way to go. The devil will be in the detail and that’s were we need your help.

Your unions are hosting report back meetings on 31 July. Come along to one of these meetings to hear what happened and give your feedback. Don’t forget to bring a workmate with you!

Don’t forget - these meeting are on PAID-TIME and are for ALL SBS staff

WHEN: Thursday 31 July

  • 11am: Training room (Level 2)
  • 12pm: Training room (Level 2)
