Centrelink are pushing out a new service delivery model in Area South East from 1st July.
This means BIG CHANGES for many employees who will be forced to change their job design and, in some cases, even their workplace. Our request to have delegates attend a meeting in Area Office last week was refused, begging the question - when will Centrelink management consult with staff about the changes?
Clause 7.3 of your collective agreement guarantees you that, “Centrelink will provide relevant information to employees about employment related matters that will impact on them; give employees the opportunity to provide feedback; and consider the feedback provided."
Many employees have reported that there has been no consultation about the changes.
Have you been consulted? Have you been asked for your feedback? Is it fair that Centrelink can introduce changes without asking for your feedback?
Please fill out the survey here and give us your feedback on how Centrelink has handled the consultative process.
